🌍 Location Services is Back in Ulaa for Mac & Windows – More Private & Secure Than Ever! 🚀

Have you ever wondered how websites determine your device’s geographical location? Location Services in Ulaa allows websites to access your location when permitted, helping with features like maps, weather updates, and localized content.

At Ulaa, user privacy is our top priority. But have you considered how traditional location services might expose your data? Previously, we disabled Chromium’s location services to prevent sensitive information such as nearby Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and cellular data from being transmitted to third-party providers like Google. This was done to enhance privacy and reduce the risk of data leaks.

Starting from Ulaa version 2.28.2 and above for Mac and Windows, we have reintroduced Location Services using the native system location provider. What does this mean for you? Instead of relying on third-party services, Ulaa now uses your operating system’s built-in location settings, giving you more control over your data.

🔹 For Mac and Windows users: Want to use Location Services in Ulaa? You need to enable it in your system settings first. Follow this link to learn more.

🔹 Linux does not have a standardized, built-in location service like Windows and macOS. Unlike these operating systems, which provide native location services that applications can access, Linux distributions typically rely on third-party solutions or manual configurations. Since Ulaa now depends on the native system location provider, this feature is currently unavailable on Linux.
