Download Control- what is it?
Download Control helps you manage how downloads work across your organization.
You can:
- Block all downloads.
- Set a specific download location.
- Enforce that download location across the organization.
This is useful for maintaining security and ensuring files are stored in the right place.
Example:
If you want to prevent users from downloading any files, you can block downloads entirely. If your finance team needs to download files to a specific folder, like D:\CompanyDownloads, you can set and enforce that location for the "Finance" group. This ensures everyone in that group saves files only in the approved location.
