How to change cookie settings?
You can change cookie settings from the On-device site data.
- At the top right, Click Menu.
- Select Preferences> Privacy and Security.
- Select Site Settings
- Click Additional Content Settings.
- Scroll all the way down to find On-device site data.
You can see options related to cookie settings (on-device data), which may include:
- Allow sites to save data on your device : This option allows websites to store cookies on your device.
- Delete data sites that have been saved to your device when you close all windows: This option removes cookies when you close all browser windows. Sites will probably work as you expect but won't remember you after you close all windows. This setting may clear cookies when you close the browser.
- Don't allow sites to save data on your device : This option prevents websites from saving cookies on your device.You can select the desired cookie settings based on your preferences.
Note: When you select this option, a message may pop up suggesting that you keep the setting on for better performance. If you still want to block sites from saving data on your device, click "Turn Off" or a similar option in the pop-up message.
If you want to be more specific, look for customizable options where you can personalize the behaviour for individual websites if necessary. These options typically include:
- Allowed to save data on your device: This option allows the selected website to store cookies on your device.
- Always delete site data from your device when you close Ulaa: This setting ensures that all data associated with the selected website is cleared when you close the browser.
- Not allowed to save data on your device: This option prevents the selected website from saving any data on your device.
How to add a site?
- Click on the "ADD" button located on the right side of the customizable options.
- A box will appear where you need to enter the name of the site for which you want to customize cookie behavior.
- Enter the name of the website in the provided field.
- Click the "Add" to save.
