Audio is not working in Ulaa, What to do?

Ensure Ulaa is up-to-date. Outdated browsers may have compatibility issues with certain websites, including sound-related problems.
Websites have additional content settings that require you to allow them to access certain features or content by changing the browser settings. Try the following steps:

Enable sound settings

  1. Open Ulaa Browser.
  2. At the top right select, Menu > Preferences > Privacy and Security.
  3. Click Site Settings > Additional Content Settings > Sound.
  4. Enable "Sites can play sound.", Ensure that following websites has be added under "Allowed to play sound" list.
  5. Refresh or reload the webpage.
Note: ULAA has mode isolation. Therefore, any changes made in one mode will not reflect on another. 

Reset to default settings

When above step didn't fix the issue, you can try resetting to defaults. To do so:
  1. Open Ulaa Browser.
  2. At the top right select the Menu > Preferences > Reset Settings > Restore settings to their original defaults.

  3. Close and restart the Browser.
Note: Resetting settings to their original defaults will typically revert any customisation or changes you made. Make sure to back any critical data or settings before proceeding with this step.

Enable sound for individual website

When sound doesn't work for an individual website like youtube.com, you can try the following steps:
  1. Open Ulaa browser and navigate to the website where you are experiencing sound issues. Eg. youtube.com.
  2. At the top left of the address bar, select the .
  3. Select Site settings > Sound.



  4. Choose Allow to enable audio for the website.


In case the issue persists, try the following:
  1. Clear your browser's cache and cookies: Sometimes, cached data or cookies can conflict with website functionality, including sound.
  2. Try a different web browser: If you are using Ulaa and experiencing sound issues on a particular website, try accessing the website on a different web browser to see if the issue persists. This can help determine if the problem is specific to a particular browser.
  3. Check your computer's sound settings: Ensure that your computer's sound settings are properly configured and the volume is not muted or too low.
