To fix Ulaa update issue in Windows, follow the steps mentioned below
Check Ulaa Update Assistant in System Tray
1. Look for the Ulaa Update Assistant icon in the system tray.
2. If it is not visible:
- For system-level installation: Navigate to C:\Program Files\Zoho\Ulaa\Application and manually open UlaaUpdateAssistant.exe.
- For user-level installation: Go to C:\Users\<user_name>\AppData\Local\Zoho\Ulaa\Application\ and open UlaaUpdateAssistant.exe.
Relaunch Ulaa
- Click on the Ulaa icon in the system tray.
- Wait for the "relaunch" option to appear.
- If it appears, terminate all Ulaa processes from the task manager and then reopen Ulaa.
If the Ulaa Update Assistant is not found in the directories mentioned above, try reinstalling Ulaa by following the steps below:
- Quit Ulaa and proceed to uninstall it from the control panel.
- Download Ulaa directly from ulaa.com.
- Right-click on the .exe file and choose "Run as administrator."
- Depending on your preferences, opt for either System-level Installation (impacting all user profiles) or User-level Installation (impacting only the selected user profile)
Note: Uninstalling Ulaa will not delete data. However, to ensure no risk of data loss, activate sync for each mode before uninstallation by clicking
here.
Warning : When uninstalling Ulaa from the Control Panel, ensure the "Also delete your browsing data" option is unchecked, as shown in the screenshot below. If this option is checked, all your browser data, including profiles, bookmarks, extensions, and passwords, will be permanently deleted.
These steps aim to ensure the proper functioning of the Ulaa Update Assistant and resolve any issues that may arise during the update process.
